Spider-Man: The Movie is arguably the best opening of the first half of 2004. Indeed, the first game, made under the "hot to film," hack does not give a frank and - oh my God! - Has the potential to appeal to the casual gamer. In Spider-Man: The Movie has everything you might be interested in the ordinary amateur action: good graphics, hurricane action (tens of different combos, great motion capture), a respectable share of originality (there are levels of both indoor and outdoor - in the city) cine all events, great movies (and video, and script), downhole music, great level design and ... stylish character. I do not know how it managed to developers, but the hero they had "worked out" to complete. All of his spider extra abilities were duly applied in the gameplay. Precisely because they play so stands out from the rest of the representatives of the genre - which only cost the local stealth-action levels! Ode to the creature Gray Matter could sing for a long time if not for a series of large "but." The first thing that spoils the enjoyment of a substantial proportion of the game - a camera. Here people's favorite Lara, even in comparison is not. Second - the wild complexity of the process. Some levels have to replay dozens of times. And the third - the plot. Developers too briskly rode on the events of the movie and the game as a result seen as a set of unrelated episodes, because of what the atmosphere is affected. We have three solid minus - hence the rating. While Spider-Man: The Movie, will undoubtedly be able to give you a few nice days, but hardly memorable.
